A couple of weeks ago I was at Music Hack Day in London. I still have two interviews left from this trip.
The first one features Kelly Snook, the studio manager of Imogen Heap. Imogen is one of the more famous cases of artists spending a lot of time on the interaction with their fans and using the internet. She has an extensive videolog on YouTube.
Kelly talks about how she is looking for inspiration at Music Hack Day to help Imogen in creating more interactive shows. She also tackles the issue of keeping the balance between openness and a viable financial model as an artist.
The second video interview features Dave Haynes, the organiser of this edition of Music Hack Day London and business developer of SoundCloud. He gives a nice overview of what is happening at Music Hack Day and what this could mean for the music industry.
