Main features

Update

Update all your social network profiles with one click. Post updates, news, photos and videos simultaneously to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube.

Measure

Measure the impact of your actions with statistics. Check whether specific posts cause an increase in views, plays or comments and adapt your strategy with this knowledge.

Collaborate

Work together with your fellow band members, managers, agents,… on the same data. Every user has a personal account with an overview of the bands that he manages.

The story

When founder Hilke Ros started using the internet to promote his band Colorless Green Ideas, he discovered that a central dashboard to manage all his social networks and internet services would be a big time saver and great help in the current internet jungle. He decided to dive into the world of internet and music startups and started building Musedash. Meanwhile his new band Amatorski became very popular in Belgium. Now he tries to be a prototype of the new, independent, entrepreneurial and self-managing artist.

Competitors

As a social media dashboard, Musedash can be compared with services such as Hootsuite or Tweetdeck. However, Musedash focuses on the specific niche of musicians and people in the music industry. With regard to this niche, Musedash can be seen as an improved combination of Artistdata (for posting content to different social networks, but without all the clutter) and Next Big Sound (for the statistics).

Future plans

  • improving usability
  • adding more typical music services: Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Tunecore, Fanbridge,…
  • adding a mobile version
  • making a bridge with your existing band website: Google Analytics, Wordpress or Drupal plugins, etc.
  • improving the statistical data and reporting
